Opened search volume appears poised to post relatively stable month-over-month results in May. Our preliminary data shows that month-to-date opened search volume (as of Friday afternoon) was down 6% over April’s full month numbers. We traditionally see a 3%+ bump in opened searches being added at the last minute, suggesting that May’s final totals will be very close to April’s. While market uncertainties remain, the projected MoM stability feels like a significant win, despite April and May numbers being about 10% lower than March.
